GOALS


01. To promote the game of badminton in Sabah

02. To produce world-standard badminton players from Sabah

03. To strengthen the state level training program with the cooperation of National Sports Council and Sabah State Sports Council

04. To assist the district badminton associations in their development programs

05. To provide adequate highly qualified coaches and technical officials

06. To improve the financial position of the association

07. To improve the external relations through the association website

08. To become the state-level, national-level, or international-level badminton championships organizer

09. To improve the management and the administration of the association

AIM AND OBJECTIVES

The aims and objectives of the association shall be:-

(a) To encourage, promote and control the game of badminton in Sabah.

(b) To be affiliated with the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM).

(c) To take such measures as may be deemed necessary for the management and control of state championship and other competitions organised by the association or any other approved body on behalf of the association.

(d) To formulate, implement and enforce such Rules, Standing Orders, By-Laws and Regulations made under this constitution.

(e) To ensure the observance of all rules and regulations in all district or state badminton competitions or championships organised in Sabah.

(f) To raise and utilise the funds of the association for the above purpose in such manner as shall be expedient or necessary.

(g) To settle or adjudicate all disputes of District Badminton affiliates in accordance with Badminton Association of Malaysia and Badminton World Federation rules and regulations which are currently enforced.

(h) To acquire by purchase, lease or otherwise any land or property and to build or enter into arrangements to develop or manage otherwise provide badminton halls, hostels, schools and other facilities in connection therewith and to furnish, modify and maintain the same.

(i) To manage, improve, maintain all or any part of the lands and other property and to sell, exchange, lease or otherwise deal with and dispose of the land and/or buildings hereon either together or in portions, for such considerations as it may think fit and for such purpose to appoint attorneys by giving a Power of Attorney.

(j) To borrow or raise and give security for money by assignment, charge or otherwise upon all or any part of its property.

(k) To establish, maintain and conduct a Badminton Academy and other facilities in connection with incidental to or to promote the game of Badminton.

(l) To invest and deal with the monies and assets of the association in such manner as may from time to time be determined.
